Dr. Fudge's research program is currently funded by a Discovery Grant from the Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council of Canada (NSERC), as well as a Discovery Accelerator Supplement (DAS) grant and Early Researcher Award (Ontario Ministry of Economic Development and Innovation). Along with Dr. Todd Gillis, he is the recipient of a Canada Foundation for Innovation (CFI) Leaders Opportunity Fund Grant, with matching funding from the Ontario Research Fund (ORF). Funding for research on the biophysics of the skin blistering disease Epidermolysis Bullosa Simplex has been provided by the Canadian Institutes of Health Research (CIHR).
